Falls Cost $50 Billion

A study published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society says that over $50 billion was spent in 2015 treating people 65 or older for falls. The study goes on to say that unless fall risk assessment and prevention, then those costs will surely rise as the baby boomers age.
